First successful TETRA siren upgrade in the Landshut ILS area

| News

This week, the market town of Simbach became the first municipality in the catchment area of the Landshut Integrated Control Center to be fully converted to digital siren alerting.

In addition to the connection to the TETRA BOS network using the modular TETRA siren control receivers (mTSE) from Sonnenburg, all of the municipality's motorized sirens were also converted to modern Sonnenburg sirens at the same time. The new sirens were used successfully for the first time on the Bavarian State Warning Day.

Benjamin Taitsch, responsible for sales at Sonnenburg Electronic, is delighted with the modernization together with Simbach's mayor Herbert Sporrer: "The modular TETRA siren control receiver (mTSE) provides an optimal connection to the TETRA BOS network, which will allow fire departments and the population to be warned even faster in the future."

Anyone wishing to convert their municipality to modern warning systems can arrange a consultation at any time.
